“We believe passionately about making learning meaningful and memorable for every child and are saddened that too many children do not have the opportunity to play, learn and explore natural spaces. Working with Pop’s Outdoor on a weekly basis has given our children the opportunity to learn personal, social and technical skills as well as develop confidence in our woodland. Most importantly of all they love every minute and are super keen when they arrive in their wellies and woollies ready to face the next challenge.

Our woodland is being transformed by Staff from Pop’s Outdoor Adventure Centre whom are working with the children and staff to create a vibrant, functional, all year round outdoor space including; new footpaths, nature areas, campfire/bushcraft areas and other outdoor learning spaces.

The work carried out by Pop’s has enabled the school to bring classroom learning into the outdoors, enabling the children to further develop their confidence, health and wellbeing and to further encourage the natural curiosity the woodland has to offer.”

” Pop’s have delivered outdoor adventurous themed days for each of our classes over the summer term. The staff at POPs have linked each of the days to the current topic of the class, including turning up as Roman Soldiers and Egyptian Pharaohs! Their love for the outdoors has been transferred to all our children through experiences such as building camps, cooking food over a fire, archery and many more outdoor physical activities. It has been great to see our children exploring, creating and having fun in our own amazing space.

“Came here with year 3/4 class. This place was absolutely fab! The weather was cold and wet but that didn’t stop us having non stop fun. The two guys, one Pops, sorry can’t remember the other guys name but they were amazing. Well organised,safe guarding was top notch,they were fantastic with the kids, supplied staff with a hot drink at lunchtime,the kids loved it and so did staff.
I’m sure we will return and can’t wait.
