We deliver bespoke learning experiences and exciting tailor made sessions based on your class topics in a fun, outdoor and practical way!

Year 6 – Hunger Games

Rosehill Junior School on our Hunger Game Trials! #immersive #makinglearningreal – May the odds be ever in your favour!

Foundation Stage – Senses

Working F1 children on the topic of senses. The children did a fabulous job of finding, sorting, discovering and testing their senses on our outdoor immersive learning project! Well done everyone!

Foundation Stage – Minibeast Adventure

Bramley Grange School Visit – A fantastic day of minibeast hunting, shelter building, cooking on fires and having fun in the outdoors!

Year 1 – Habitats

Ryecroft Infants School Visit to Pops Outdoor Adventure Centre in Rosehill Park Rawmarsh – A great day of learning about habitats, minibeast hunts and pond dipping!

Year 2 – Habitats

Amazing outdoor adventure with Kilnhurst Primary School Year 2 class on their Minibeast Adventure!! The children hunted for minibeasts, made bird feeders and created minibeast hotels! Fantastic outdoor learning!!

Year 3 – Adventure Day

Monkwood School Visit to Pops Outdoor Adventure in Rosehill Park Rawmarsh. A fantastic day of Pioneering, games and making pizza in our wood fired pizza oven!

Year 3 – I’m a Year 3 Get Me Out Of Here!!

Fantastic day with the children from Ledger Lane Outwood Primary School! The children built their own shelters from junk washed up on shore, solved the jungle challenges, saw off those pesky Kakamora’s and had an Island campfire to finish!! What a day of fun and adventure!!!

Year 4 – Stone Age

Amazing Stone Age Forest School Session with Monkwood Primary School Class 8. They made tools using natural clay, Elder jewellery and learnt how to make fire using a flint.

Year 4 – Volcanoes

Another fantastic day in the woods with Class 9 at Monkwood Primary School. The children brought their learning outdoors to create their own volcanoes and then to see them come to life in their own mini eruptions!!

Year 4 – Native Indians

Fantastic day outside on our Native Indian Workshop with students from Monkwood Primary School. Students learnt about life within a tribe, creating trade goods, shelter building, tracking and some fun Indian songs to finish. What better way to enjoy the sunshine with an outdoor classroom experience!

Year 4 – Romans

The Year 4 children joined the ranks of the Roman Legion and began their training with Archery, fire lighting, preparing/cooking bannock bread and broth and taking part in fun Roman themed field games. What a great way to engage learning in the outdoors!

Year 5 – Nature Study

Fantastic Day with Kilnhurst Y5 class continuing their work on Nature and the outdoors. Minibeast Hunting, Pond Dipping, Creating Bird Nests and Nest Helpers finishing off with team challenges and field games. What a day!

Year 5 – Fallen Fields

A very memorable adventure at Monkwood Primary School with Class 11 on their topic of ‘Fallen Fields’ following the story of ‘Private Peaceful’. They discovered what life was like in the trenches, built their defences and exchanged Christmas gifts created from the forest. They even had time to squeeze in a hot chocolate cooked over a real fire!

Year 5 – Egyptians

Another fantastic day outdoors with Monkwood Primary School Class 12 on their topic of Egyptians! They played the role of Egyptian engineers, exploring methods of transporting water and gathering natural building materials to construct their own pyramids. What better way to create an immersive learning experience!

CPD Training

Had an amazing time delivering CDP training with staff from Monkwood Primary School. Shelter Building, Fire Lighting and all round outdoor adventure in their amazing woodland! It was a pleasure to work with such a fantastic group of Teachers!
